This is a great chest exercise that gets confused with back all the time! When you're doing this for your chest, make sure to keep your elbows squeezed inward. You should feel your chest muscles squeeze together. This will be engaging the chest rather than the back. You will lift your chest up and have a slight curve in the back. You breath in on the way down and breath out on the way up!
My clients usually do a good amount of weight for this exercise so I encourage you to do the same!
Try this for 3 x 12 or 4 x 12 if you need a little extra love!
Yes you can do this exercise for your back as well! You would rotate your elbows outward and keep your body and breathing the same!
